Here is some information about the July 1 (8-11 a.m.), protest at the Delores Immigration Courthouse in San Antonio.

Mike Brand and I were the only UUs from what I could tell.
It was a group of, at the least, fifty people ranging from clergy, nuns, and young adults from the Party for Socialism & Liberation (PSL). In fact, it was the PSL volunteers that were running the gathering, and they did an excellent job making sure of our safety and well-being and putting on a strong program. We marched around the courthouse seven times, with inspirational speakers before each go-around. The most telling moments were when a PSL leader explained that our presence kept the ICE bus from making an appearance. And, not one court case that was on the docket was dismissed allowing the asylum seekers to continue their process with freedom. It was especially emotional when poster size pictures of the abducted were passed around for people to march with. There was this one picture of a young, happy, beautiful family of parents and 2 young children, one of which was wearing his pre-kinder graduation regalia.
