The Wednesday Women’s Inspiration Chalice Circle (WWICC) finally found a project that fit our special skill set. While washing windows on campus recently, we decided the toys the kiddos play with needed a wash. That project would take a bit more time so we planned for a normal meeting day at church to do what we could to clean the gazillion toys the kids play with. So, Wednesday, May 21, around 8 AM early risers arrived to hauled out tables from one of the classrooms and set them up on the grassy area near the patio. One was for washing and double rinsing, and one was for setting toys out to dry. It was a fun thing to do on a coolish Wednesday morning -- until it got hot, that is. It brought back memories of our own childhood and the toys we played with. We forgot to take photos of where the toys had been in the room, but decided the kids would probably know where they belonged and might have fun putting them back wherever they wanted. All in all, it was a satisfying morning.
